N.Y. DOCTORS, NURSES, ARE YOU THERE? READ MY ARTICLE, BIRD'S EYE VIEW ON H1N1, URGENTLY; THERE IS PLENTY OF SUBSTANCE TO THE ARGUMENT : PROVE IT TO THE PUBLIC! ("I"LL BE BACK"; time off for the Chagim)

And meanwhile, some really horrible and nasty news: I was driving in NY this afternoon, and overheard a radio program - media H1N1 vaccine propaganda:

In short, it still stands:

THE H1N1 VACCINE IS MANDATORY FOR ANY MEDICAL PERSONNEL ATTENDING TO PATIENTS; that means in hospitals, clinics, etc.

Doctors and nurses don't have a choice:

IT IS EITHER THE VACCINE , OR THEIR JOB.

How did Hitler take away the jobs of the Jewish doctors? With new laws.

So now the new law says: you agree to take the poison, or you have no income.

IMMUNIZATION CLINICS ARE STARTING HERE JUST TWO DAYS FROM NOW, OCT. 1, 2009

They will be running for two more weeks, two Thursdays in a row, until October 15, 2009.

YOU NEED TO WARN EVERY NURSE AND DOCTOR THAT YOU KNOW, THAT THEY BETTER LEAVE THEIR JOB, RATHER THAN TAKE THE H1N1 VACCINE.

AT LEAST THAT IS WHAT I WOULD DO.

That, or regret it for the rest of your life.

N.Y. health care workers protest mandatory H1N1 flu shots.
ALBANY — Several hundred health-care workers, civil libertarians and members of anti-vaccine groups on Tuesday railed against a mandate that medical professionals get seasonal and swine-flu vaccines.
But the state health commissioner said their arguments are baseless.
Nurses and other health-care workers said they shouldn't be forced to get a vaccine that they don't believe has been tested appropriately as a condition of keeping their jobs.
"There's no proof this vaccine will protect us from swine flu or protect us from spreading it to others," said Sue Field of Poughkeepsie, a registered nurse who works in a hospital maternity ward and a primary organizer of the rally.
Field, who declined to name her employer, said there are other things health-care workers can do to help prevent patients from getting sick, such as not allowing them to have visitors with contagious illnesses.
But Dr. Richard Daines, state health commissioner, disputed that, telling reporters that the seasonal flu and H1N1 vaccines are safe and vaccination is the most effective way to prevent the flu. He criticized anti-vaccine groups for protesting the H1N1 shots.
"This isn't the time to pump air into a completely deflated argument about vaccine safety," he said.

DS: THIS IS A PURE LIE: READ MY ARTICLE,

"BIRD'S EYE VIEW ON H1N1: AN ATTEMPT AT COMPREHENSIVE UNDERSTANDING OF THE ENGINEERED PANDEMIC OF 2009",

 ON THIS BLOG.

YOU WILL FIND HERE ALL THE PROOFS YOU NEED - AND THERE ARE A LOT MORE I DID NOT EVEN MENTION IN MY ARTICLE.

It's NOW, or NEVER!

The state Hospital Review and Planning Council unanimously approved a requirement that health-care workers in hospitals, outpatient clinics and home-care programs receive seasonal and H1N1 flu vaccines by Nov. 30, unless they have medical reasons why they cannot. Legislation to apply the same standard to nursing-home workers has been proposed.
Years of voluntary vaccines for flu led to vaccination levels of between 30% and 50% of health-care workers, which is not high enough to provide herd immunity — protection to the remaining unvaccinated population, Daines said.
It's up to the institutions to decide how to comply and what actions to take for employees who do not. Health-care workers are "going to come around on this," he said.
"I know nurses and doctors too well. I've never seen them walk away from a patient problem," he said.
Historically, there is one flu outbreak season each year, with about 2,000 deaths in New York and 36,000 nationwide, Daines said. Because of H1N1, there will likely be three outbreaks this year, he said.
Other groups representing health-care workers oppose the mandatory vaccinations, although they were not connected with the rally.
The state Nurses Association encourages nurses to get immunized but doesn't think that should be a condition of employment, spokesman Mark Genovese said. Not all institutions are requiring the vaccine, he said.
The association disputed the accuracy of the rally organizers' message, Genovese said. Its members have been in discussions with state officials.
The Public Employees Federation, which represents health-care workers, wants the regulation reversed, union President Ken Brynien said in a statement. There are reports that some employees at institutions where vaccines are mandated have retired or been fired because they refuse to get it, he said.
"No other state mandates vaccination for influenza, nor has the federal government done so. New York health care workers should not be used to test an unproven policy," he said.
The Healthcare Association of New York State anticipates that the vast majority of health-care professionals who are required to get the vaccine will, said William Van Slyke, a spokesman for the group.
Outside the Capitol Tuesday, protesters held hand-made signs with sayings like, "We're not lab rats," and "No flu shot, no job?" Groups like the Autism Action Network, which said it plans to sue the state on the issue, and the Campaign for Liberty helped organize the protest.
Deborah Gerhardt, a 37-year-old registered nurse from Walworth, Wayne County, said deciding whether to get an injection should be a personal choice. Just because the FDA approved the H1N1 vaccine "doesn't mean it's safe in my book," she said.
"Where is this so-called emergency situation that is wreaking havoc?" asked Gerhardt, who works at Brighton Surgery Center and Rochester General Hospital.
"The real havoc is New York state is taking our jobs away for no reason at all," she said.
Cherryl Robbins, a patient-care technician from Staatsburg, Dutchess County, said that in troubled economic times, it is hard to understand why health-care workers are forced to choose between what they think is right for their bodies and what they do for a living. She is 22 weeks pregnant with her first child.
"Up until this year, the choice to forego the vaccine has been there for me," said Robbins, 33. "This year, at a time when I'm pregnant with my first child, and I feel more responsibility for what I put in my body than at any other point in my life, that choice has been taken away from me."
Barbara Jones of Wallkill, Ulster County, said she has never gotten a flu vaccine and has been a registered nurse since 1985. There is an implication that if health-care workers don't get the vaccine, they don't care about their patients. That couldn't be further from the truth, she said.

"I think people should have the right to get it or to opt out of it," said Jones, 47.

Finally, watch the CDC propaganda. Do you recognize the guy in a beige shirt, looking so casual?

Look again below: Yes, that is the SAME GUY, in a MILITARY UNIFORM, handling the H1N1 vaccination campaign as a military operation. Watch him, listen to him talking to his military peers: NOT QUITE so casual, is he now???

Phonies.

Safety? After how many days?  WITH, or WITHOUT ADJUVANT?

How many weeks and months did it take for the FULL GULF WAR SYNDROME PICTURE TO EMERGE,-  including 30,000 deaths - due to the adjuvant SQUALENE??

Pay attention: does the vaccine they plan to inoculate you with come in two nice little vials? If so, the first one is the virus recombinant, while the second one is the ADJUVANT. That IS the plan, denials notwithstanding, and remember that they are NOT obligated by law to TEST THE SAFETY OF THE ADJUVANT, under US Health Emergency .

So yes, the inactivated virus vial is so safe - while you don't hear about the second little vial.....

CAVEAT EMPTOR; BUYER BEWARE, ESPECIALLY IF THE MERCHANDISE COMES FREE:

HOW DO THEY SAY? IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT USUALLY IS.

G'mar Chatima Tova to all: may we all be inscribed in the Book of Life this year, 5770.

NB: the Chazanut is sung by our friend Yehuda Solomon of the Moshav Band, of the Happy Minyan, Los Angeles, CA. I spent quite a few holidays and Shabbatot there, and the music is simply magnificent ( Carlebach and other music). Thank you, Yehuda.

Enjoy.

Top Egyptian Daily: Joseph’s Era Coins Found in Egypt

Tishrei 7, 5770, 25 September 09 01:50
by Hillel Fendel
(Israelnationalnews.com)
"...discovered many charms from various eras before and after the period of Joseph, including one that bore his effigy as the minister of the treasury in the Egyptian pharaoh's court…"
An Egyptian paper claims that archaeologists have discovered ancient Egyptian coins bearing the name and image of the Biblical Joseph.
The report in Al-Ahram boasts that the find backs up the Koran’s claim that coins were used in Egypt during Joseph’s period. Joseph, son of the Patriarch Jacob, died around 1450 B.C.E., according to Jewish sources.
Excerpts from the Al-Ahram report, as translated by Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI):
"In an unprecedented find, a group of Egyptian researchers and archeologists has discovered a cache of coins from the time of the Pharaohs. Its importance lies in the fact that it provides decisive scientific evidence disproving the claim by some historians that the ancient Egyptians were unfamiliar with coins and conducted their trade through barter.
"The researchers discovered the coins when they sifted through thousands of small archeological artifacts stored in [the vaults of] the Museum of Egypt. [Initially] they took them for charms, but a thorough examination revealed that the coins bore the year in which they were minted and their value, or effigies of the pharaohs [who ruled] at the time of their minting. Some of the coins are from the time when Joseph lived in Egypt, and bear his name and portrait.
"There used to be a misconception that trade [in Ancient Egypt] was conducted through barter, and that Egyptian wheat, for example, was traded for other goods. But surprisingly, Koranic verses indicate clearly that coins were used in Egypt in the time of Joseph...
"Research team head Dr. Sa'id Muhammad Thabet said that during his archeological research on the Prophet Joseph, he had discovered in the vaults of the [Egyptian] Antiquities Authority and of the National Museum many charms from various eras before and after the period of Joseph, including one that bore his effigy as the minister of the treasury in the Egyptian pharaoh's court…
"Studies by Dr. Thabet's team have revealed that what most archeologists took for a kind of charm, and others took for an ornament or adornment, is actually a coin. Several [facts led them to this conclusion]: first, [the fact that] many such coins have been found at various [archeological sites], and also [the fact that] they are round or oval in shape, and have two faces: one with an inscription, called the inscribed face, and one with an image, called the engraved face - just like the coins we use today.
"The archeological finding is also based on the fact that the inscribed face bore the name of Egypt, a date, and a value, while the engraved face bore the name and image of one of the ancient Egyptian pharaohs or gods, or else a symbol connected with these. Another telling fact is that the coins come in different sizes and are made of different materials, including ivory, precious stones, copper, silver, gold, etc."
One coin had an inscription on it, and an image of a cow symbolizing Pharaoh's dream about the seven fat cows and seven lean cows, and the seven green stalks of grain and seven dry stalks of grain.

"The researcher identified coins from many different periods, including coins that bore special markings identifying them as being from the era of Joseph. Among these, there was one coin that had an inscription on it, and an image of a cow symbolizing Pharaoh's dream about the seven fat cows and seven lean cows, and the seven green stalks of grain and seven dry stalks of grain. It was found that the inscriptions of this early period were usually simple, since writing was still in its early stages, and consequently there was difficulty in deciphering the writing on these coins. But the research team [managed to] translate [the writing on the coin] by comparing it to the earliest known hieroglyphic texts… Joseph's name appears twice on this coin, written in hieroglyphs: once the original name, Joseph, and once his Egyptian name, Saba Sabani, which was given to him by Pharaoh when he became treasurer. There is also an image of Joseph, who was part of the Egyptian administration at the time."MEMRI's website says it "explores the Middle East through the region's media. MEMRI bridges the language gap which exists between the West and the Middle East, providing timely translations of Arabic, Persian,Turkish, Urdu-Pashtu media, as well as original analysis of political, ideological, intellectual, social, cultural, and religious trends in the Middle East." Headquartered in Washington, D.C., MEMRI has branch offices in Jerusalem, London, Tokyo, Rome, Baghdad, and Shanghai.

Sydney Wakes to ‘Nuclear Winter’ as Dust Covers City

By Nichola Saminather and Rebecca Keenan

Sept. 23 (Bloomberg) -- An orange glow blanketed Sydney today as gale-force winds whipped up one of the city’s largest dust storms on record, shrouding the Opera House with a choking powder, snarling traffic and forcing airlines to divert flights.
“It’s like a nuclear winter morning,” Peter Wilson, 53, a visitor from Queensland state, said at Circular Quay in central Sydney as fog horns echoed across the harbor. “It is so eerie.”
The Harbor Bridge was hidden by a thick haze as the early morning sun struggled to pierce the blanket of dust blown in from the dry interior of the continent. Train commuters, some wearing masks or clutching handkerchiefs to avoid breathing in the dust, stood on the platform snapping photographs of the spectacle on their mobile phones.
The Bureau of Meteorology issued a severe weather warning for wind gusts as fast as 90 kilometers (56 miles) an hour, while the New South Wales state government said air quality in parts of the city was “hazardous.”
Schools were advised to keep pupils indoors and keep a close eye on students with asthma, the New South Wales state Education Department said. Sports lessons were canceled.
Ferry services on the harbor resumed after being suspended and high winds and low visibility disrupted flights at Sydney airport, with some aircraft diverted to Melbourne and Brisbane.
“I haven’t seen dust storms like this since I was in China a few years ago,” said solicitor Jim Harrowell, 55, as he stood in the financial district, where office windows were clogged with dust. “We’re lucky it’s not raining, otherwise there would be little red spots all over us.”
Dirty Yachts
Yachts on the harbor, usually gleaming white, had a dull yellowy sheen. Drivers shuffled slowly over the Harbor Bridge, their windscreens smeared and filthy.
The cloying dust left many residents of Australia’s most populous city tight-chested with a metallic aftertaste in their mouths as they made their way to work through the haze.
“There is a smell of dust in the air and there is this eerie orange glow in the sky,” Barry Hanstrum, the Bureau of Meteorology’s regional director for New South Wales, said by telephone from Sydney.
The storm was caused when an “intense north low pressure area” formed and generated gale-force westerly winds which “picked up a lot of dust from the very dry interior of the continent,” Hanstrum said.
Orange Cloud
The orange cloud, possibly the city’s worst dust storm on record, may remain over Sydney and the rest of the state for the remainder of the day, he said.
Qantas Airways Ltd., Australia’s largest airline, said in a statement there were “severe delays” to all flights at Sydney airport, with all international arrivals in the city diverted to Brisbane or Melbourne.
Today’s horse racing at Canterbury Park in the city’s southwest was abandoned because of the weather, the Sydney Turf Club said.
The state Ambulance Service said it had experienced an increase in calls from asthma sufferers and some were taken to hospital, the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper reported.
Oakdale, in the city’s southwest, recorded a level of 1,719 on the Department of Environment’s air quality index. A reading of 200 and above is considered hazardous and people with heart or lung disease, the elderly and children should avoid exercising outdoors, according to the department’s Web site.
The state Fire Brigade experienced a 10-fold increase on its usual call rate as the dust tripped automatic fire alarms and smoke detectors, spokesman Graham Kingsland said.

ANTI-SEMITISM ON AUSTRALIAN TV?

HonestReporting.Com  22 Sept 2009
Jewish civilian towns on the West Bank have featured prominently in the news in recent months. There is no consensus on the issue in Israel or the Diaspora and it would be naive to expect any positive coverage from a hostile media.
We should, however, expect the media to cover the story without prejudice and to accurately reflect the realities on the ground without becoming advocates for the Palestinian position. On this, Australian Channel Nine's 60 Minutes fails.

  • Broadcast on Friday September 18, reporter Liam Bartlett starts with the wholly erroneous statement that "hundreds of thousands of Jewish settlers are moving into the West Bank, building new towns on Palestinian land."
Putting aside the thorny issue of what actually constitutes "Palestinian land," hundreds of thousands of Jewish citizens are certainly not moving into Judea and Samaria. Instead, the civilian population continues to grow within existing communities mainly due to natural growth. While this has allowed building and development within existing boundaries, the Israeli government has not authorized the creation of any new towns for many years.
  • Referring to "a day in the life of the West Bank," Bartlett focuses on a video of a settler shooting a Palestinian in Hebron, replaying it throughout the report, replete with dramatic background music for added effect. Bartlett interviews a Palestinian virtually helping him to "reconstruct" the incident without question.
This shooting is certainly not indicative of "a day in the life of the West Bank" and caused something of an uproar in Israel in December 2008 - some nine months before Bartlett's report. As is the case in a democracy where the rule of law is taken seriously, this incident was thoroughly investigated by the police and the suspect involved was charged with and prosecuted for assault.
While Bartlett takes the video and his Palestinian interviewee at face value, ensuring that it fits his agenda, the other side of a more complicated story did not appear in the report. Nor did the judge's statement that the Palestinians were partly at fault for what had transpired. "In their behavior the Palestinians contributed greatly to the incident's grave consequences."
  • Bartlett is clearly attempting to use the above incident and an interview with Nadia Matar to portray all Israeli settlers as extremists, contributing to the demonization of an entire sector of Israeli society.
Matar is a prominent leader of the right-wing Women in Green group and whether one agrees with her politics or not, she is certainly not representative of the mainstream settler leadership - something that Bartlett does not share with his audience. Indeed, Bartlett takes an aggressive line of questioning with Matar in stark contrast to his interview with the Palestinian resident of Hebron.
  • Likewise, Bartlett interviews Palestinian official Mustafa Barghouti, adding his own commentary, claiming that Israeli setters "look down on Palestinian towns through barbed wire and boom gates. To protect the settlers, Israel controls the movement of Palestinians. To travel from one town to another, there can be humiliating delays at checkpoints."
Nowhere in his report does Bartlett expand on the Palestinian terrorism that has necessitated Israeli security measures, while one is left wondering what "humiliating delays at checkpoints" could actually entail, short of sitting in a traffic jam.
  • Bartlett allows Barghouti to employ inciteful language against Jewish settlers including analogies to "cancer" and "rape."
  • Bartlett reports from what, according to him, is a "peaceful demonstration" outside of a settlement. The location, in reality, appears to be that of the Israeli security fence during regular Friday protests by Palestinians, probably from the village of Bil'in. These "peaceful" demonstrations usually descend into something more violent as Palestinians and international volunteers throw stones and riot against Israeli security forces who are forced to respond with tear gas and rubber bullets.
In conclusion, this 60 Minutes report is an example of the worst kind of demonization of Israeli citizens driven by Liam Bartlett's unhidden and overtly biased agenda.

Belatedly, Egypt Spots Flaws in Wiping Out Pigs

CAIRO — It is unlikely anyone has ever come to this city and commented on how clean the streets are. But this litter-strewn metropolis is now wrestling with a garbage problem so severe it has managed to incite its weary residents and command the attention of the president.
“The problem is clear in the streets,” said Haitham Kamal, a spokesman for the Ministry of State for Environmental Affairs. “There is a strict and intensive effort now from the state to address this issue.”
But the crisis should not have come as a surprise.
When the government killed all the pigs in Egypt this spring — in what public health experts said was a misguided attempt to combat swine flu — it was warned the city would be overwhelmed with trash.
The pigs used to eat tons of organic waste.

Now the pigs are gone and the rotting food piles up on the streets of middle-class neighborhoods like Heliopolis and in the poor streets of communities like Imbaba.
Ramadan Hediya, 35, who makes deliveries for a supermarket, lives in Madinat el Salam, a low-income community on the outskirts of Cairo.
“The whole area is trash,” Mr. Hediya said. “All the pathways are full of trash. When you open up your window to breathe, you find garbage heaps on the ground.”
What started out as an impulsive response to the swine flu threat has turned into a social, environmental and political problem for the Arab world’s most populous nation.
It has exposed the failings of a government where the power is concentrated at the top, where decisions are often carried out with little consideration for their consequences and where follow-up is often nonexistent, according to social commentators and government officials.
“The main problem in Egypt is follow-up,” said Sabir Abdel Aziz Galal, chief of the infectious disease department at the Ministry of Agriculture. “A decision is taken, there is follow-up for a period of time, but after that, they get busy with something else and forget about it. This is the case with everything.”
Speaking broadly, there are two systems for receiving services in Egypt: The government system and the do-it-yourself system. Instead of following the channels of bureaucracy, most people rely on an informal system of personal contacts and bribes to get a building permit, pass an inspection, get a driver’s license — or make a living.
“The straight and narrow path is just too bureaucratic and burdensome for the rich person, and for the poor, the formal system does not provide him with survival, it does not give him safety, security or meet his needs,” said Laila Iskandar Kamel, chairwoman of a community development organization in Cairo.
Cairo’s garbage collection belonged to the informal sector. The government hired multinational companies to collect the trash, and the companies decided to place bins around the city.
But they failed to understand the ethos of the community. People do not take their garbage out. They are accustomed to seeing someone collecting it from the door.
For more than half a century, those collectors were the zabaleen, a community of Egyptian Christians who live on the cliffs on the eastern edge of the city. They collected the trash, sold the recyclables and fed the organic waste to their pigs — which they then slaughtered and ate.
Killing all the pigs, all at once, “was the stupidest thing they ever did,” Ms. Kamel said, adding, “This is just one more example of poorly informed decision makers.”
When the swine flu fear first emerged, long before even one case was reported in Egypt, President Hosni Mubarak ordered that all the pigs be killed in order to prevent the spread of the disease.
When health officials worldwide said that the virus was not being passed by pigs, the Egyptian government said that the cull was no longer about the flu, but was about cleaning up the zabaleen’s crowded, filthy, neighborhood.
That was in May.
Today the streets of the zabaleen community are as packed with stinking trash and as clouded with flies as ever before. But the zabaleen have done exactly what they said they would do: they stopped taking care of most of the organic waste.
Instead they dump it wherever they can or, at best, pile it beside trash bins scattered around the city by the international companies that have struggled in vain to keep up with the trash.
“They killed the pigs, let them clean the city,” said Moussa Rateb, a former garbage collector and pig owner who lives in the community of the zabaleen. “Everything used to go to the pigs, now there are no pigs, so it goes to the administration.”
The recent trash problem was compounded when employees of one of the multinational companies — men and women in green uniforms with crude brooms dispatched around the city — stopped working in a dispute with the city.
The government says that the dispute has been resolved, but nothing has been done to repair the damage to the informal system that once had the zabaleen take Cairo’s trash home.
The garbage is only the latest example of the state’s struggling to meet the needs of its citizens, needs as basic as providing water, housing, health care and education.
The government announced last week that schools would not be opened until the first week of October to give the government time to prepare for a potential swine flu outbreak, a decision that could have been made anytime over the past three months, while schools were closed for summer break, critics said.
Officials in the Ministry of Health and other government ministries said they had not made this decision — and that they had counseled against pre-emptive school closings.
It appears to have been ordered by the presidency and carried out by the governors, who also ordered that all private schools, already in class, be shut down as well.
“We did not propose or call for postponing schools, so the reason is not with us,” said an official in the Ministry of Health who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the person was not authorized to speak to the news media.
The heads of three large governorates, or states, in Egypt announced Wednesday that their strategy for keeping schoolchildren safe was to take classes, which on average are crowded with more than 60 students, and split them in half and have children attend school only three days a week, another decision that was criticized. There have been more than 800 confirmed cases of H1N1 in Egypt, and two flu-related deaths.
“The state is troubled; as a result the system of decision making is disintegrating,” said Galal Amin, an economist, writer and social critic. “They are ill-considered decisions taken in a bit of a hurry, either because you’re trying to please the president or because you are a weak government that is anxious to please somebody.”
Cairo’s streets have always been busy with children and littered with trash.
Now, with the pigs gone, and the schools closed, they are even more so.
“The Egyptians are really in a mess,” Mr. Amin said.

Mona el-Naggar contributed reporting.

YOU BETTER READ THE COMMENT BELOW: IT COMES FROM A SOURCE IN THE KNOW - Re: "SURPRISING? YOU DECIDE..."

THIS COMMENT IS FROM ERIC PHELPS, AUTHOR OF THE BOOKS:

VATICAN'S ASSASSINS, I, II, III.

Eric Phelps has done and continues to do intensive research into the workings, plans and machinations of the Vatican, the Jesuits, etc.

He writes:

"The second largest Jewish population is in Florida were the vaccine will be mandatory.  The third largest Jewish population is in California, where the vaccine will also be mandatory.

The open attack against the North American Jews has begun."

And SHmuel said, about the video of Jane Burgermeister:

Superb movie in every respect.

And I would like to add:

Look at this site:

http://www.nysais.org/page.cfm?p=645

You can clearly see that Jewish schools are also members of the NY State Association of Independent Schools.

Yet, in Manhattan, a heavily Jewish district, where and when did the NYAIS decide to hold its H1N1 preparedness seminar?

ON EREV ROSH HASHANAH, IN TRINITY SCHOOL, an ANGLICAN school -( as close as it gets to Catholicism without being Catholic).

By design, or not?

Also to be noted that Catholic schools are already busy concocting lame excuses for NOT taking the vaccines, such as religious abstentions because the virus allegedly is grown on aborted fetal cells - FALSE! -. By the way , Jews could claim the same abstentions - if they pass for the Catholics, but apparently they will NOT pass -. But count on Catholics to find ways to protect their young, particularly in private schools, possibly administering placebos to them, or other such tricks.

Is it surprising, considering WHERE all this is originating from - ROME?

Rome will do everything in its power to protect CATHOLIC CHILDREN, while Jewish children will be thrown to the wolves - LITERALLY.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS, FELLOW JEWS: RESIST WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT! DO NOT LET THEM DO THIS TO AM YISRAEL AGAIN.

DID WE NOT PLEDGE - NEVER AGAIN

BEST YET: COME HOME BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!!!

H1N1 Pandemic Flu Preparedness

Date: Thursday - September 17, 2009
Time: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Location: Trinity School
Trinity School
139 W 91st St
New York, NY 10024-1399

Workshop Description

We encourage the attendance of a team from each school, including Heads, administrators, business managers, technology directors, medical personnel

The news of the expected return of the H1N1 Flu virus this fall is frightening.
A number of NYSAIS schools were compelled to close in the spring of 2009 as a result of the H1N1 Flu outbreak, causing confusion and disruption to all aspects of institutional life. Many schools experienced high levels of absenteism, parental anxiety, and all schools considered questions such as:
  • Are we adequately prepared?
  • Do our families (and we) understand the facts about the virus? How can we contain premature or unfounded anxiety?
  • What happens when the media enters the picture and fans the flames of fear?
  • Do we have an emergency plan; will it work?
  • Who is on the emergency team? Are they the right people? Who have we missed?
  • Who will decide whether the school closes, and when it will re-open?
  • Can we communicate effectively with our families? What commercial alert systems have schools used?
  • How can we deliver the curriculum to students even when they are not physically at school? Technology - what minimum skills/ preparation must the faculty have to keep students on task? What would remote teaching and learning require? What about administrators and supervisors? What happens to programs such as athletics and the performing arts?
  • What if the school must remain closed for a month or a semester? What are the academic, legal and financial implications if we cannot deliver the program to students?
  • How can we minimize the confusion of re-entry?
This workshop is designed to help schools exchange experiences, resources, worst - and best - case scnenarios with the intent of avoiding "wheel re-invention syndrome". Representatives from several NYSAIS schools will offer honest and candid observations from their experiences of "swine flu" closure in spring, 2009.
Horace Mann School
Rye Country Day School
St. David's School
St. Francis Prep School
Trinity School

Representatives will speak to the questions listed above in light of the following:
  • What worked exceptionally well?
  • What did not work?
  • What do you wish you had done differently?
  • What have you put in place since the spring that has improved your preparedness?
  • What is one thing you would advise your colleagues?
Proposed Agenda

  10:00 AM
Welcome - John Allman, Head of School, Trinity School

  • Introductions – Barbara Swanson, NYSAIS

New York Health Care Workers Resist Flu Vaccine Rule

By DONALD G. McNEIL Jr. and KAREN ZRAICK
When she cleans the rooms of patients with swine flu symptoms, Jana Newton, a housekeeper at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, has to suit up for her own protection in a mask, gloves, gown and hairnet.
But she still does not want the one thing that would give her a far better defense — a flu shot.
"Some people's immune system is good, like me," Ms. Newton said. "I've been here five years and never been sick. Why mess with something that's not broken?"
She is not alone. Across the country, federal health officials say, only about 42 percent of all health care workers get an annual flu shot. That is little better than the overall national average of 33 percent and far below the 65 to 70 percent rate for the elderly.
That's why the emergency regulation adopted this summer by the State Health Department making all hospital, home health and hospice workers get seasonal swine flu vaccinations was a startling and radical step.

No other state or city health department has such a rule. Local unions reacted angrily, saying they had not been consulted.
Joel Shufro, executive director of the New York Committee for Occupational Safety and Health, a coalition of 200 union locals, said the change was presented to them "as a done deal" on Aug. 17. His coalition is still debating suing to stop it, he said.
The unions do not oppose vaccination "but we oppose a mandatory program," he said. "This is: 'You don't get the shot, you're fired.' "
Some prominent health experts, however, were delighted.
Dr. Julie Gerberding, the former director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, called New York's move "a big deal."
She had pushed for years for mandatory vaccinations — not just to protect health care workers, she explained, but to protect their patients, who are often aged, have weakened immune systems or are bedridden after surgery, which increases pneumonia risks.
"We tried to market the idea, to push people, to educate," she said. "But looking back, broadly speaking, we failed. It's time to look at a more aggressive approach."
By contrast, her successor, Dr. Thomas R. Frieden, said last month that even though he expected a surge in swine flu deaths this winter and even though C.D.C. guidelines give health care workers first priority for the new vaccine, he would not push to make vaccinations mandatory.
"This is just not the right flu season to take this on," said Dr. Frieden, who previously was the New York City health commissioner.
C.D.C. experts said there was just too much confusion this year, with the logistical difficulties of getting both seasonal and swine flu vaccinations to workers and the fact that the swine flu vaccine is still being tested, to risk a fight over the issue now.
On Friday, federal health officials said more than three million doses of swine flu vaccine would be available by the first week of October. But they also reported "widespread" swine flu activity in 21 states, with summer not even over.
Every state already requires health workers to be immunized against measles, mumps and polio, and the unions do not object. Also, federal law requires their employers to offer free hepatitis shots against needle-stick injuries, and California requires them to offer free flu shots too. While workers may decline, they must sign a form saying they accept the risk.
Immunologists generally agree that real protection against any disease requires vaccination rates over 90 percent. But because rumors always circulate and many people fear needles, voluntary acceptance never gets that high.
Only two hospital groups in the country, Virginia Mason in Seattle and BJC HealthCare in St. Louis, now make all their employees get flu shots or face dismissal, said Dr. Thomas R. Talbot, an epidemiologist at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine who studies the issue. Both groups reached vaccination rates of more than 98 percent and he knew of five more planning to follow suit, he said.
Many hospitals make voluntary vaccination easier by using roving "shot carts," drive-up shots and rewards like time off or a raffle for a Caribbean vacation. Tom Lowe, occupational health representative for the New York State Nurses Association, said he had heard some had reached 80 percent that way, though he could not name any.
Dr. Talbot said that, of the handful of hospitals he knew of that achieved more than 75 percent voluntarily, some used measures that were not entirely voluntary — workers who refuse must wear masks at all times or are told notes will be put in their personnel files.
With volunteers, "the best you can get is usually 50 to 60 percent," said Dr. William Schaffner, president-elect of the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases and a longtime proponent of mandatory shots.
Complying with the new state rule, the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, which runs the city's public hospitals, announced on Aug. 28 that seasonal and swine flu vaccinations would now be mandatory for all its workers. The corporation already requires an annual tuberculosis test, as well as evidence of measles and rubella vaccinations. Its previous flu shot program, which was voluntary, reached only 51 percent of workers last flu season.
Flu shots and attitudes toward them have changed slowly. The shots were invented in 1942 by the military, but became widespread only in the 1990s after Medicare began paying for them.
They have also been "cleaned up" as viral parts replaced whole killed virus, and filtering to remove stray proteins from the eggs they are grown in improved.
"Older health care workers remember the days when it gave you a sore arm and made you feel crummy," Dr. Schaffner said of the shot. "That's why some avoid it."
Also, although the original intent was to protect the recipient and cut down on absenteeism, it slowly became clear that in hospitals, fewer flus in doctors and nurses meant fewer dead patients.
"I was an epidemiologist at San Francisco General in the early 1990s," Dr. Gerberding said. "Among bone marrow transplant patients and others who were profoundly immune-suppressed, outbreaks of flu and other viruses could be very deadly. That changed the paradigm."
Still, many workers dislike them.
Anthony Montero, 55, a dietary aide at Lutheran Augustana Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation in Brooklyn, said he was afraid of needles, but added: "If it's a must, it's a must."
Patrind Rungreang, 45, an X-ray technician at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, said he had no problem with being vaccinated if it was mandatory. But he felt the fear of swine flu was overblown.
"It's just another flu," he said. "We deal with all kinds of diseases here."
Many poorly educated workers still believe flu shots cause flu, Dr. Schaffner said. Though that is impossible, because it is only parts of a dead virus, the myth persists and is reinforced every time someone gets a shot and then catches a cold, which it does not prevent.
This year's rushed testing has added to fears.
Surveys of 8,500 Hong Kong health-care workers published last month in BMJ, formerly The British Medical Journal, found that more than half planned to refuse the new vaccine if they could.
The unions also object because no flu shot protects perfectly. As the virus mutates, new vaccines must be made each year, and in some years, like 2005, the flu mutates so quickly "that it's really a crapshoot in terms of matching the strain," said Jan S. Rodolfo, a nurse and a flu expert at the California Nurses Association, which represents 86,000 nurses in several states.
Over all, virologists say, of every 100 people who faithfully get flu shots, only about 70 are fully protected every year. But even the other 30 are partly protected by previous shots and by "herd immunity" — the fewer unprotected victims a virus finds, the faster it fades out.
David Welch, a cardiac unit nurse in Chico, Calif., who blogs about health issues for the California Nurses Association, said he got injected to protect himself and his patients, "but I want to defend the rights of other people not to get it. It's not an easy choice."

Mandatory Flu Vaccines for Hospital Personnel Set to Take Effect ( Aug. 2009)

The State Hospital Review and Planning Council (SHRPC) Thursday approved an emergency regulation to require influenza vaccinations for health care personnel. The mandate approved applies to all personnel working in hospitals, diagnostic and treatment centers, certified home health agencies, long-term home health care programs, acquired immune deficiency syndrome home care programs, licensed home care service agencies, and hospices. Nursing home employees are not covered under the regulation.
The only exemptions are for personnel who have a medical contraindication and for workers, such as those offsite, who would have no contact with patients and only incidental contact with direct-care staff. The language for the exemptions is available in the regulation.
The measure officially becomes effective upon filing with the Department of State in the coming days, and facilities should be prepared to offer the vaccines to their employees at no cost for the upcoming flu season.
The Department of Health (DOH) officials have said the regulation could apply to provision of the H1N1 (swine) flu vaccine series, in addition to seasonal flu shots, should the H1N1 vaccine become available in sufficient supplies to cover all health care workers. Health care workers, along with school-age children, pregnant women, and immuno-compromised adults, are among the highest priorities for receiving novel H1N1 flu shots when they become available in September or October.
DOH is moving forward with the regulation over objections of the New York State Nurses Association, which spoke against the mandate at the SHRPC committee hearing, urging instead increased education to improve voluntary vaccination rates.
HANYS is seeking guidance from DOH on how facilities need to document instances where there are medical contraindications or other refusals to receive the vaccine. The regulation includes a mandate requiring facilities to report the status of their immunization efforts annually to DOH.
A separate measure that would require the immunizations for nursing home personnel was under consideration earlier this year in the State Legislature, because it requires a statutory change.

PS: Just to dot the i's, I consider Jewish doctors, nurses and medical staff VICTIMS here, of course, and not PERPETRATORS ( just a note for anti-semites who might interpret my remarks upside-down!)DS

COMMENT BY ERIC PHELPS, AUTHOR OF VATICAN'S ASSASSINS, I , II, and III:

The second largest Jewish population is in Florida were the vaccine will be mandatory.  The third largest Jewish population is in California, where the vaccine will also be mandatory.  The open attack against the North American Jews has begun.

Meanwhile....well, well, well! ... why could that be, I wonder?

And finally: watch this BOMBSHELL of an interview with Jane Burgermeister  the brave investigative journalist who filed criminal charges against Baxter, WHO and the UN a few months ago. This interview is only two weeks old.

INFOWARS: THEY WANT TO INJECT MY KID WITH WHAT???? AND, I HAVE A BRILLIANT IDEA THAT SHOULD GET ME THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE!

It seems that our worldwide campaign to alert people to the dangers of the H1N1 vaccine is working: lo and behold, the US now wants to DONATE 10% of their vaccine stock to the WHO; so are other first World countries : it appears that internet-connected folks are not going to be so easily persuaded to take the poison, so now they are turning to the second tier, the illiterate, miserable poor of the Third World; one way or another they plan to eliminate a large part of the world population: if Americans or the Dutch don't go willingly, maybe they will try Nepal, or Tibet, or remote areas of India, Mexico, or who knows what.

The United States plans to donate 10 percent of its supply of pandemic H1N1 influenza vaccine to the World Health Organization for use in low-income countries.

The nation has on order 195 million doses of the swine flu vaccine, which is due to start arriving early next month. The White House said it "is taking this action in concert" with eight other countries.

The White House released no details about the program, such as timetables and total amounts of vaccine to be donated. Officials at the Geneva-based WHO did not respond to phone and e-mail inquiries.

The other countries making donations are Australia, Brazil, Britain, France, Italy, New Zealand, Norway and Switzerland.

Earlier this summer, two vaccine manufacturers, Sanofi Aventis and GlaxoSmithKline, said they would donate 150 million doses of pandemic vaccine to WHO. Global production, by about 20 makers in all, is projected to be 2 billion to 4 billion doses over a year.

The number of people who could be protected is uncertain. The first tests of the pandemic vaccine showed that adults will need only one shot, not two as some experts predicted. Children, however, are likely to need two.

"The United States recognizes that just as this challenge transcends borders, so must our response. We invite other nations to join in this urgent global effort," the White House said.

SEE MY RESPONSE TO THIS HEARTFELT PLEA BELOW

The statement noted as well that "we remain confident that the United States will have sufficient doses of the vaccine to ensure that every American who wants a vaccine is able to receive one."

WHO officials have grappled all summer with how to prevent virtually all the supply of vaccine and antiviral drugs from going to rich countries, leaving poor countries unprotected.

"Improving access to vaccine is the central global issue at this time," Keiji Fukuda, WHO's assistant director general, told epidemiologists and influenza researchers in Washington this week. They were meeting at the Institute of Medicine to discuss events of the first five months of the pandemic.

Negotiations between WHO, the United Nations, vaccine manufacturers and wealthy countries that have standing orders for an essentially limitless supply of pandemic flu vaccine have been "slow and time-consuming," Fukuda said.

Without them "the least developed countries are not really going to have a chance of getting the vaccine." But he acknowledged that "nobody expects the numbers to work out in this pandemic."

Fukuda said that "prolonged ad hoc negotiations" like the ones this summer would be unrealistic in a pandemic more severe than this one.

In 2007, when researchers complained that Indonesia was not making samples of H5N1 "bird flu" available for study, WHO convened intergovernmental negotiations to try to reach an agreement for sharing both virus samples and the benefits that might result from them, such as vaccines. The negotiations ended this year without a full agreement.

My response to the heartfelt plea of the White House ; Obama's big heart cares so much about all of humanity; the pharmaceutical companies are falling all over themselves, wondering how to help poor, disadvantaged countries cope with H1N1, offering their vaccines right and left.....

Obama is SO right; my heart goes out to all these large Gazan families, and the poor palestinians arabs who sometimes have 50 children per family, because of the father's multiple wives ranging in ages from 80 to 8 years old. These crowded conditions are very risky for swine flu, and poor, abused Gazans need to be immunized at all cost; so do all the poor abused, deprived Israeli Arabs, and all the poor Arabs of Jenin, Ramallah, Tulkarm, Hebron, etc....

So I urge the ISRAELI GOVERNMENT TO ATONE FOR THE TERRIBLE CRIMES THEY COMMITTED IN GAZA, BY GENEROUSLY TAKING ALL THE 450 MILLION SHEKELS' WORTH OF H1N1 VACCINE THEY PURCHASED FOR THE JEWISH POPULATION OF ISRAEL,  DONATING IT TO GAZA, EVEN VOLUNTEERING TO VACCINATE THE ENTIRE POPULATION, AT THE EXPENSE OF THE JEWS, WHO DON'T DESERVE IT ANYWAY.

What do you say, United Nations? Would THAT atone for our terrible crimes? DO YOU APPROVE OF MY PLAN?

WILL I GET THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE FOR MY EFFORTS?

And if you object, WHAT COULD BE YOUR REASONS? Do you have  A PROBLEM WITH THAT???

THE POPE , I AM SURE, WOULD BE VERY PROUD OF MY GREAT GENEROSITY.

PLEASE PASS THE WORD AROUND.
